Dear all,

This is the first time I ask for help in this forum, nice to be joining this group.

I am recently trying to build a database that covers all pathogens associated with pneumonia. I am new to bioinformatics so I am trying to figure out the easiest way to do that. How do you guys do the text mining for such task?

Many thanks for everyone's input.

Cheers

You can build it by reviewing the literature. Metagenomics is a good option for this type of study.

Hi, thank you for your reply. Do you mean the only way to do it is to manually review the literature? I have came up with some literature search websites like Coremine that seems to be able to do some advance searches, do you know if that can help me search all pathogens covered in pubmed literature?
