bcftools stats output file specification?

Hi,

I would like to use bcftools stats to compare two VCF files created by different tools. The command runs without problems, but I could not find how to specify the output file in the documentation. I tried with the -o filename option and with -> filename, but they both did not work. This is the current command:

 bcftools stats file1.vcf.gz file2.vcf.gz

Any help would be appreciated.
