Tool:miRAnno—network-based functional microRNA annotation

Dear Biostars community,

I would like to introduce a new tool for functional annotation of microRNAs called miRAnno.

miRAnno uses comprehensive molecular interaction network and random walks with restart to measure the association between 2,586 human microRNAs and 4,968 individual pathways. Independent validation shows that miRAnno achieves higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to the standard enrichment analysis of microRNA targets. miRAnno is fast and easy-to-use web application and is freely available at:
