Hi everyone.

I am looking at some sequences that we outsourced, and we are seeing a very high frequency of Nexter Transposase Adapters.

Does anyone know how this can happen, and what this means if most of your samples contain these frequencies?

Thanks for the feedback!

Perhaps your input material was not of good quality. It is also possible that something went wrong during library prep (if you can prove your input samples were of great quality then the finger may point towards whoever made the libraries). Illumina also provides some tips for trouble shooting.

Thanks for the quick reply, I greatly appreciate it! Most of the samples had decent reads, but even samples with good quality reads showed high % of this adapter. I really appreciate the resources and the quick correspondence.
