Hello,

I have generated a series of fastq files and related bam files that I would like to store for free and make publicly available. On GitHub there is a limit of 100 Gb, but I have 1.3 Tb of stuff. Is there another server where can I store the files for free?

Thank you

Probably https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ena/browser/home or the SRA itself. If it has to obey access restriction (human data, talk to your legal department about it) then probably https://ega-archive.org/ or dbGaP.

If you transform everything to CRAM (even the unaligned data) you probably can compress and save lots of space. Afaik only EGA and ENA accept CRAM, but I might be wrong.

If possible use ENA, the download client from EGA is a gigantic mess and it's a pain to get data from there.

Since you mentioned you want to make it available publicly. Have a look at this,

Submitting high-throughput sequence data to GEO
