What does the black lines mean in the IGV track

I am wondering what do the pieces of black lines between the coverage and reads mean? Thanks if anybody knows

looks like a rendering glitch maybe? sometimes insertions are shown in that area (purple triangles)

Hi. They are this.

Found it on --> https://software.broadinstitute.org/software/igv/AlignmentData

Downsampled reads areas are marked with a black rectangle just under the coverage track. The coverage track represents coverage for all the reads.

If you wanna get rid of the, go to preferences and turn off downsampling.

Shows/hides a vertical ruler line that follows the cursor in the data panels.

No I do not mean the vertical cursor bar, but the horizontal black segments right between the reads and the coverage track.
