I'm trying to install conda on a server so I can run analyses remotely. It seems conda default installs in the home directory (~). Unfortunately the way my institute's server is set up means I have a very small personal storage space, but a large separate storage space. The personal storage space isn't big enough to install conda. Can I redirect the conda install? I can't see how from the conda install readme though
I'm afraid I can't see how to change the directory?
Follow the steps in link above. If you want to preserve packages you have already installed then you have to do all 4 steps. Otherwise uninstall and reinstall in a new directory followed by re-installation of packages.
Brilliant, got that working thanks
