[GenomeStudio] Why do some SNPs are listed as 'edited' eventhough I haven't edited those SNPs???

Hi experts :)

I'm new to GenomeStudio (illumina's proprietary software for the analysis of their array data)

So, here's what I did this morning:

  • I "zero-ed" (aka excluded) some SNPs that did not meet my criteria for "AB Frequency"... in total I have zero-ed 49 of such SNPs from the X chromosome...

However, when I filtered for rows that have been edited, I got ~2,000 rows in which the column "Edited" have the value of 1 (meaning they have been edited)... but I only edited 49 SNPs??? where do these extra edits come from??

Thank you guys!!
