I am looking for datasets (if available) that include whole-genome sequencing (or maybe whole-exome sequencing) data for the individuals who have received mRNA vaccination. I have tried to look at a couple of sources but seems most of the WGS is for the virus itself rather than the individual having the vaccine.
Would be great if you have any suggestions!
Not really what you asked for but apparently in infection the 3'-end of the viral genome can maybe integrate into some cells. With the mRNA vaccines this seems unlikely because the cells express the spike protein on their surface and are consequently destroyed, i.e. even if the spike protein sequence was integrated into some chromosome in whatever cell, in the end the cell would be destroyed anyway..

This is a controversial paper. Another one claims to falsify its results: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S221112472100961X
Well, either way even if the first paper was right, it wouldn't really be relevant for the mRNA vaccines. Every cell that gets the mRNA expresses the spike protein on its surface and is consequently destroyed, right?
