Plink Error

I have installed Plink via the following link on ubuntu:

https://zoomadmin.com/HowToInstall/UbuntuPackage/plink

When I run the command I have received the below erorrs:

plink: unknown option "--bed"
plink: unknown option "--bim"

I am sure the input files and the command are correct, because I have tried them in another linux system before, so it must be software error maybe installation.

I would be thankful if some one can help me!

Unfortunately, there are multiple programs named plink, and you installed the wrong one.

On Ubuntu, you want the plink1.9 package.

Alright, Thanks . it was solved, first download via: https://zzz.bwh.harvard.edu/plink/download.shtml and then put the plink in the bin directory!

Actually, that’s probably incorrect; that version is more than 12 years old.
