I have got this image from this given research paper, BUT sadly in the method section they have not mentioned any R package or tool or anything as such . I am just wondering how can I recreate such kind of plot for my data.

Please refer to this post: Nested Bubble Plots. Same question was asked 3.2 yr ago with same image. But no easy answer. If you can consider alternative diagram, I would suggest sankey diagram which have similar flow.
