I have been having difficulties in developing a phenotype file.

I am mainly focussed on the data-field 41270 in the UK Biobank.

The main diagnosis I am after is Parkinson's disease coded as G20. The 41270 datafield has 3447 patients with the diagnosis. see first image.

Field 41270

The phenotype file was extracted as follows:

ukbconv ukb43007.enc_ukb txt -s41270 txt

However, when I compare it against the extracted phenotype file. ukb43007.txt and ran a grep command, it only shows 1938 patients with the G20 diagnosis. (see second image) '''Grep G20 in file and then count lines

Have you refreshed your basket? ICD10 diagnoses is an ongoing phenotype. Depending on your version, your number might differ (the information on the web image show that the version is jun 2021)
