I am pursuing a BSc in Data Science and Business Analytics with the university of London (mathematics, statistics, programming, data science). I would like to know if "academically" I can get straight to a PhD in Bioinformatics without engaging into a MSc and still get a job. And if the answer is No, which MSc should I pursue? Thank you everyone!
Many US universities would allow one to go from a BS degree to a PhD program but the requirement is that BS degree has to be a 4 yr undergraduate degree. If your BSc program is only 3 years then you may need to complete one more year of college. The exact requirements may vary from program to program.
