Why in Biomart Exon region start is before Gene start?

The exon is in the gene isn't ?

I would suggest that you actually state the numbers, don't expect people to be eyeballing the various numbers trying to figure out what you mean

I think he means, why for example gene start for the first line is 1569973 and for the same line exon region start is 1593187.

ok but what would be the problem with a gene start at 1,569,973 vs an exon start at 1,593,187?

the exon start in this example comes after the gene start, just as it should

with big numbers it is easy to misread them especially when not formatted with commas, perhaps this is just one of those cases
