Good afternoon , I have doubts about what program to use to be able to make an image similar to image "A". In the image a genome is represented, the red circles are the position where structures of interest are found. I thought to use R-studio but I'm still new to this program. I want to carry out with a gene and I have already listed the positions of these structures of interest. If someone would like to help me with this program or knows of a public software to do this, it would be very helpful. Thank you.

Adding to this comment:
B
is just a pie chart (I think that's actually just a product ofgraphics::pie()
in this composite image).C
is a bar plot (also fromgraphics
:graphics::barplot()
).Not quite sure how the authors composited everything together. They might have used
cowplot
orpatchwork
, but I have a feeling this particular multi-panel figure was probably thrown together inMicrosoft PowerPoint
(orLibreOffice Impress
, if they were open source enthusiasts).
