We're looking for a bioinformagician to lead the computational group at Stoke.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop a deep understanding of RNA splicing and splice-switching antisense oligonucleotides
- Provide strategic plans in analyzing and deciphering next-generation sequencing data, and apply modern computational biology approaches to advance Stoke's portfolio of therapeutic targets
- Propose and develop analytical and visualization tools to deliver complex biological data
- Manage and develop a team of computational scientists by advancing multiple projects in parallel, delegating tasks, and providing both technical- and growth-oriented feedbacks
- Support a highly collaborative environment and promote positive teamwork among a team of scientists from different backgrounds
- Communicate scientifically rigorous results clearly, in written and verbal, both internally and externally
