Hi everyone,
From the ATAC-Seq protocol, I intend to conduct methylation analysis. Just wondering if ATAC-seq sequences are reduced representation libraries or not? The reason I ask is that ATAC-seq does not sequence the whole genome, but only open chromatin regions, as I understand it.

What does ATAC-seq has to do with methylation? Yes, it is a reduced representation library in terms of that you highly enrich for certain genomic regions.
ATpoint, not sure 100% but methyl-ATAC-seq can measure DNA methylation at accessible chromatin. find the link below.
