In the above article, what did they mean by the terms "multidomain" and "multimetric" in the case of proteins?
Multidomain - multiple protein domains in the same protein. Most eukaryotic proteins are like that.
Multimeric (not multimetric) - multiple proteins that interact together and form some kind of a complex. Can be either homomultimers (identical subunits interacting) or heteromultimers (different subunits interacting).
You have been at this for quite some time, and I am surprised that you never encountered these terms. Or are you just extra cautious as a relative beginner?
