I am using biomart to get information on a list of transcripts ID I have. I am developing a bioinformatic application to facilitate CNV analysis.

I have been asked to add morbidity inheritance (no idea what this was until I asked) my colleague told me that this is information about if the gene need two or one copy to be functionality operative.

Is that correct? and if so, where can I find that info?

I don't think this is a sensible definition, and googling "morbidity inheritance" brings up a book from the 1930's on eugenics, but possibly I am just missing something. What you describe then sounds a bit like dominant or recessive traits associated with a gene. I would ask my colleague first to define what they want in simple terms until we either both understand what is required or both agree that they didn't want that anyway.
