Hello,

regarding the SNF program http://membres-timc.imag.fr/Olivier.Francois/snmf/index.htm I can make the geno input file for my SNF, but let's say I have a data set it both known and unknown ancestries?

For example, I have 2,503 individuals belonging to 26 separate ethnicities (1000 Genomes), and one unknown.

I look at the example example.ancestrymap file, but this format doesn't make sense to me:

      rs0000 SAMPLE0 1
      rs0000 SAMPLE1 1
      rs0000 SAMPLE2 2
      rs1111 SAMPLE0 0
      rs1111 SAMPLE1 1
      rs1111 SAMPLE2 0
      rs2222 SAMPLE0 0
      rs2222 SAMPLE1 9
      rs2222 SAMPLE2 1
      rs3333 SAMPLE0 1
      rs3333 SAMPLE1 2
      rs3333 SAMPLE2 1

nor do the other files in the example directory that I downloaded from their website.

I'm looking for the equivalent of a .fam file, which doesn't seem to exist with SNF, yet it should exist.

How can I indicate which sample of the 2,504 samples should be the unknown, and which samples are of which ethnicity?
