Hi,

I have tried to set up Kallisto software - following the instructions on https://protocols.hostmicrobe.org/conda without any luck. I need this software to align reads to a reference genome for RNA sequencing analysis. It worked up until I used the command: conda create --name rnaseq on anaconda prompt (miniconda3) as it came up as an error.

Does anyone know how I might be able to correct this?

Thanks

Kallisto gives you the chance to download the binaries. It is a simple and compressed file that will allow you to reach the program seamlessly

Hi, I am also having similar issues while installing Kallistro in my system. I have attached the screenshot below:

Kallistro

Any suggestion? Thank you.

For OP: Switch to Mac or Linux, and if you want to stay on a Windows machine use WSL. Bioinformatics software is not routinely available on native Windows.

For the comment from @moinul, it's misspelled, kallisto, not kallistro.
