Hey all,
I am trying to compare the genome sizes of two sets of genomes assembled from metagenomes (MAGs). However, not all genomes are 100% complete (range from 50 to 100%). I need to statistically check if the genome sizes are different ? and if found different how to prove that this is not due to genome completeness difference. I do not think that simply making up the genome size for 100% completeness would be a good idea.
What are other ways to do this?
Thanks in advance.
