Hello fellow Biostars users,
We have an opening for a permanent Bioinformatician at our group, Cellular Genetics IT at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. Sanger Institute is one of the most prestigious research institutes in the world and is famous for generating and openly publishing vast amounts of high-throughput biological data. Specifically, our Program (Cellular Genetics) is heavily involved in Human Cell Atlas, and generates incredible amounts of scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, Visium, and other data. Thus, this is an excellent opportunity to learn how to work with such data while working in a very friendly and communicative environment.
Details and application instructions can be found here: https://jobs.sanger.ac.uk/vacancy/senior-bioinformatician-in-cellular-genetics-informatics-group-497332.html
Please feel free to ask any questions here - I work in the same group, and will be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
Here are some groups we're closely working with, to get the idea about the science and the data generated: https://www.sanger.ac.uk/programme/cellular-genetics/
