Hello,

I just started a tuto on chip seq...Could you tell me how I can interpret this chip-seq quality graph. The sample that ends with 38 is the control. enter image description here

Thanks

The fingerprint plot shows enrichment of your samples over the input (green line). The wider the gap between the input sample line and the lines related to your ChIP samples, the more enrichment you got in your dataset. This plot looks good for chromatin marks which could be broad or very broad (for example H3K36me3 or H3K9me3, respectively). For chromatin marks which are instead not that broad and tend to have a very high enrichment over the input (in good quality data, for example H3K4me3), you would expect to see a much wider gap between the lines.

I tried to explain it in a concise way, but you can find more info here.
