The Cellosaurus (https://www.cellosaurus.org) is a knowledge resource on cell lines. It extensively describes almost 150,000 different vertebrate and invertebrate cell lines that are used in biomedical research.
While used daily by about 3,000 users, many bench scientists are not aware of its existence, of what they can learn by using this free resource and how, for example, it can help them avoid using problematic cell lines whose use could negatively impact the validity of their experimental results.
We have therefore created a short (2 min) introductory video on the Cellosaurus. It is available on YouTube at:
Please share this video with as many scientists as possible.
