Chipseq analysis: no bias in the reads (reverse vs forward)

Hi. I'm currently doing Chipseq analysis.

a little context: I'm looking at the tf: beta-catenin. This doesn't directly bind DNA but binds TCF instead and it's TCF that binds DNA.

When I look at my reads I don't really see a bias between forward and reverse reads. They are instead all randomly present. What I would expect is one part of the reads being reverse and the other one forward.

Can someone help me with this? I'm also new to this, so please explain it well.

What I would expect is one part of the reads being reverse and the other one forward.

Please explain what that means?
