How to find Tag SNPs in a particular sequence? (In HLA allele region to be more specific)

Hi Koustav. It is very difficult to help you if you do not provide further info. What kind of data do you have? Did you try something? Tag SNPs are defined on patterns of LD, so I strongly doubt that only using sequence information you can identify tag SNPs.
