Hello,
I need to come up with a data policy system in my organization to handle the deluge of sequencing runs. I read about FAIR principles. I also read about semantic modeling and stuffs like that. Is there any course/certification/tutorials where they show how we can implement these principles ? Any other suggestion will also be very helpful. Thanks
FAIR principals are a general set of recommendations for making data accessible/usable. They are not tied in any specific way to clinical data but can be applied in clinical settings (here is an example). They are applicable to any kind/type of data.
There is a cost associated with "FAIR"iying the data and at least in the US, funding agencies are starting to require a data management plan with grant submissions. So this is an important area that people need to be aware of. Looks like OP is starting to think about this aspect.
