I was hyper-specialized on the hardware end for about 8 years and now I'm getting back into building pipelines. A LOT has changed since I got my masters. What's are your favorite places to keep up to speed with the best tools & techniques for bioinformatics pipelines? Biostars is obviously a great resource. I've completed a small list below
Websites
- Biostars
Lectures
Online Tutorials
Workshops
- Baylor: Advanced Mapping Gene Course
- Bioinformatics.ca Informatics on High-throughput Sequencing Data (2017)
- faes.org Biotechnology Workshops: BioTech 79: Variant Analysis
MicroMasters
There are pre-existing threads for at least two of these.
