Plink Meta-Analysis Query

I run the Plink command for Meta-Analysis but the error shows: No variant ID field found in file ___ . However the text file contains the SNP as header. Kindly help to solve this error

Hey Haseeb,

Can you give us a little more info. What version of Plink are you running? can you upload the log file from the error? maybe upload the head of the text file too?

A lot of different things could cause this error. even just a wrong formatted file type or convection. how did you you generate your text file?
