Identifying Drug hits for a Group of cell Lines

Hey guys, I have two groups of cell lines from CCLE, each made of around 40 cell lines. I am using the PRISM Repurposing drug dataset and would like to identify drugs that are sensitive for group A cell lines more than B, indicating that those drugs are effective against specific group A features. The drug dataset basically contains LFC values of cells viability after treating the cell line with each drug normalized against DMSO-treated cell line. I first thought of making a statistical test to see drugs in which the sensitivity values are significantly different between the two groups. However, I realized the drug data, since it is a normalized LFC, values are all gonna be lying between -3 and +3 in a way, which I assume is not good for a t-test or something. What do you suggest that I can do?

hi alaaedeenjawad - Ill try to help, but, where did you obtain the data? The reason for asking is, it is helpful to know exactly what you have access to; in some cases back transformation is possible, in others it might not be.
