Hey everyone,

I need to convert Recon3D model's gene id to gene names. such as "55293_AT1" but the problem is there are ids like "51_AT1" and "51_AT2" and sometimes they code same gene. But anyway the problem is: They dont fit to any id converter tool such as DAVID or GProfiler. So I need help on that.

I need this conversion to perform GIMME in Matlab.

Looks like ID/Gene mappings are available here: http://bigg.ucsd.edu/models/Recon3D/genes

Yes I can see the gene names there, but some don't have gene names. And also if I remove them I cant make a right comparison for my work.

Looks like these are called BiGG ID's. This is a 6 yr old paper. One's that do not have gene names don't have chromosomal co-ordinates either so not sure what you can do with those.
