Mash distance python package

I am looking for a Python package that can calculate a mash distance. For now, I found only this peace of code . Maybe someone knows the existing package? Thanks!

Does it have to be in python? You could just shell out to the actual mash program?

Preferably Python, because I have Windows. I am not familiar with how to run programs from Windows command line.

If you're ok using an application, then sourmash is easy and fast with good docs.
