Hi,

I have two pdb files (there are no PDB identifications). I wanna transfer xyz coordinates of specific residues from one pdb to another. How can I do this? Is there any tool for doing this?

This looks like an XY problem. What is the real problem you're trying to solve?

Thank you so much for your reply. my problem is to transfer coordinates of atoms of consecutive 5 residue form one pdb to in the same atoms of residues in another pdb . These two pdb is the same sequence but not the same 3D structure. I dont know how I can do that.

It's been quite a while since I dabbled with structural biology but this sounds a little bit like homology modeling just on a much smaller scale. Wait for someone that knows the field to chime in.

By the way, while you have added a tiny bit of context, you're not giving us all the information you can so I don't think people will be able to help you much. Why do you want to "transfer coordinates"? That makes no sense. Do you want to replicate the structure? Transferring co-ordinates does not make sense between two molecules with completely different sets of coordinates.

I think you can do it by pymol
