I am trying to find an interactive genome browser to embed in my code. I would like to have a circular visualisation also for the homo sapiens. I found some python packages that can visualise the human genome in a circular shape (vcf2circos, pyCirclize). However, they create static figures that cannot be browsed by the user.
Please, let me know if you have some suggestions.
I have a collection of tools I have tagged as 'circular' here https://cmdcolin.github.io/awesome-genome-visualization/?latest=true&tag=Circular
i don't yet have a good filter for interactive vs non-interactive yet though, and they have varying degrees of re-usability. If you also specify what type of data you want to visualize, it may help (e.g. the structural variant "arcs" going through the center, or other coverage for CNV, etc)
Thank you very much for organising the 'awesome-genome-visualization' collection. I searched in your database before I made this question on Biostars. As you know, I was looking for an interactive circular visualisation in Python. I set the filters as Circular-Python_interactive but I got any results (I tried also with other languages). However, I think you created a very useful source for those who need genomic visualisation tools.
that's great to hear. one "proxy" for interactive is looking at the JS based tools, many are web based and interactive as a result. I have to do better in general about tagging things as interactive though!
