Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows a good Circular Genome Viewer? That is able to visualise the HG19 genome, and the coverage of that HG19 genome. It would be easy if the coverage could be read from a .sam/.bam/.bed mapped data file, or when it's easy to convert sam/bam/bed to the wanted file format.

Anyone got some ideas? Thanks!

circos is the best option but you need to go through its numerous options. bed format would do

I don't usually say this, but have you tried searching? If you type your question into the search bar above your question you will get pages of similar questions that have useful responses.

I actually did. But I stumbled on a lot of Circular Viewers, but those were all to hard to use in combination with the input files I have. So I thought lets ask it here...

Did you read Circos:- How To Make Circos Histogram Image Using This Data? I think trying to plot data from bed is pretty common. When you say others are "hard to use" are you looking for a desktop GUI application?

I find Circos pretty difficult to use. I can't even seem to install it correctly.

what is your OS and its version? It would be easy if you try to install it in recent versions of ubuntu or any other linux flavours
