I am currently reviewing a research paper which focuses on investigating the effects of anti-PD1 drugs in cancer patients, utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing on T-cells. The authors have detailed the process of collecting blood samples, yet they have not explicitly stated which type of cancer is being studied.

From my understanding, it appears to be melanoma, as this term is frequently mentioned in conjunction with PBMCs (Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells) in the text. However, I am not entirely certain of this and would greatly appreciate any clarification or assistance.

The study in question is GSE164237.

Thank you!

Perhaps the exact cancer type is not what is important. Looks like they are all solid tumors with a baseline sample and one after treatment sample.

Cutaneous or ocular melanoma. It's from this paper, which includes patient details in Table S1.
