single cell annotation of human data using mouse data

I am wondering if it is possible to annotate my single cell RNA sequencing human data using a mouse reference because it is very well annotated. Does it make sense. Anyone seen a tutorial anywhere? would it be via query transfer?

This cannot generally be answered. Markers might be conserved, but there is no guarantee. Just run it (SingleR for example) and then apply your biological knowledge to judge whether it makes sense.
