With the same UniProt accession number prefix (e.g.except for the last character),What's the connection between them? Or what is the connection between the chat protein sequences with similar UniProt accession numbers?
Using this entry as example: P05067 . In the "Sequence & Isoforms" you see 11 isoforms to the same protein "P05067-1","P05067-2",""P05067-3" ....
¿Are you referring to that type of codes?, if so is just isoforms of that same protein. UniProt has many DB's it would be good to specify.
I think UniProt numbers are assigned consecutively when researchers submit genomic sequences. The most likely connection between IDs that are the same up the the last position is that they belong to the same genome.
UniProtKB accession numbers (https://www.uniprot.org/help/accession_numbers) do not have any semantics, and should just be used to uniquely identify a protein record in the database.
To some extent, Mensur Dlakic's response is correct, but it is best not to interpret the suite of letters and digits in a UniProtKB accession number in any way.

Whenever your are referring to ID's please provide examples. Otherwise there is no point of reference to answer your question.
