Greetings fellow bioinformaticians,
I have completed my master's in biological sciences. I am looking for remote internship opportunities involving analysis of NGS and RNA-seq data. Through such an opportunity, I aiming to learn about challenges involved in working with real datasets. Additionally, I am aspiring to gain skills such as data organization, and mentoring.
I am newbie to bioinformatic analyses and self-taught various computational skills such as R, Python, and Unix programming. Through these programming languages, I have learned the complete NGS analysis using command line. Additionally, I am familiar with all the intermediate file formats (such as GTF, BED, VCF, BAM, etc.) and tools (GATK, SAMtools, BEDtools, etc.). Moreover, I hold experience in performing the above-mentioned analyses using the web-based bioinformatic Galaxy module. Lastly, I am learning snakemake for developing workflow and efficient execution of analyses.
Kindly reach out to me at my email: sunildhasmana142@gmail.com
Thank you.
Best regards, SlowSD.
