Best kit for PacBio HiFi Sequencing preperation

Hello,

I am currently preparing for PacBio HiFI sequencing. Our current focus is on extracting high molecular weight gDNA, and we are particularly interested in using the PacBio nano bind kit. However, we have been unable to find a distributor for this kit in Germany.

Does anyone have recommendations on where to acquire this kit, or alternatively, can suggest other kits that have yielded particularly good results for HMW gDNA extractions suitable for PacBio HiFi sequencing?

While the technical notes from PacBio provide a wealth of information and kit recommendations, I am keen to hear from the community about your personal experiences and any advice you might have.

First thing I would do is to write to PacBio customer service and ask for a distributor. They will know. Or you order it from abroad.

But actually, unless you really want to do all the prepping yourself, I would contact a sequencing facility and injuire for a "all included" price, so you just send DNA and get back the data. It is often these days more economic to let a company do all that, unless it's such a specific niche application that they don't support it.
