Hey, I use the SDM to create some phylogenics trees. I would like to understand the real difference between the RMSD and the SDM measures... I'm searching for an article which can explain this difference. I know the Johnson MS, 1990 and I know that the SDM is calculated with the RMSD and the nbr of alpha carbon.
