vg giraffe, accept admixed single and paired reads as input

Is it possible for vg giraffe to accept admixed single-end and paired-end reads together in a single input stream - similar to minimap2 or bwa smart pairing?

This is not currently implemented. They would have to be separated and mapped with two vg giraffe processes.
