I am attaching a figure from Mabel et al., 2024.

How can I create circos plots like this? I've seen these plots used in multiple papers to explore clonality in various pathogens along with other attributes (such as AMR). Is there a simple way to generate these plots (such as a web tool or CLI tool), or is using Circos CLI the only option (as I find that a bit tedious)?

I've used the circlize R package for this type of thing. There is very good documentation on how to use it, so really the only tedious part is getting all your various data formatted correctly.

Thanks you! It looks a bit similar to Circos only from the documentation, but I will definitely try this.
