Hi there, I am stuck with this problem. I need to convert tons of .sdf files into.sdf.gz to make them of the desired format to be uploaed on pharmit website. https://pharmit.csb.pitt.edu/

I am on Windows 10 and there seems to be no existing command for the same for running on Command Prompt. I even looked for ways to convert via softwares, but non convert them into .sdf.gz. , max it got converted into .tar.gz.

Is there a way out?

Thanks in advance. :)

It did not work. Add archive wasn't showing .gz option. -_-

Look under "Add to archive " --> "Archive format" --> "gzip"

gzip

Thanks GenoMax. I actually found a command type *.sdf >filename.sdf which compressed it into one .sdf file, which worked.

Either use the 7-zip GUI or command line tool that was linked, or quickly install WSL2 and then use Linux gzip. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install

Ok. Will give WSL2 a short.
