I'm trying to convert a .sqn file to a GenBank format so I can carry out further analysis - I used MFannot and now have .sqn and .tbl files.

I saw an old service for NCBI Sequin but by the looks of it this has been retired.

Any help?

Thanks

Hi Madders,

there is an NCBI tool, asn2gb , on their repository doing that (documentation here, download here).

You run it with ./linux64.asn2gb -i euk_NoLocusTagsORmRNAs.sqn -o test_ot.gb .

On my machine, I needed to do this trick to get it running.

Cheers,

Michael
