Hi,

I'm performing a WES analysis from Illumina. The specific kit used was Illumina DNA Prep with Enrichment (formerly known as Nextera Flex for Enrichment). I need both the target and the bait regions for the analysis, but the website provides only an "Illumina Exome Panel v1.2 (CEX) BED File" in BED format. Does it contain the bait or the target regions? I guess that file refers to the bait regions, whilst the target regions should be generated by adding all exon start/stop sites (maybe a flanking sequence too?) to a different BED file. Am I right?

Thanks

As noted in my answer below the file is here: https://support.illumina.com/downloads/nextera-flex-for-enrichment-BED-files.html

You will need to create a free Illumina account to access.

Thank you! :) I was referring to the part of your question about whether the BED file from Illumina contains the bait or the target regions?

They contain the target regions as file name says.

The manifest and BED files for this kit are available on this page: https://support.illumina.com/sequencing/sequencing_kits/illumina-dna-prep-with-enrichment.html

You will probably need to create a free account.
