How to download NCBI's Identical Protein Group (IPG) database

I often need to link IPG protein IDs to all assemblies in which they are found. To do so, I make efetch requests to IPG like so:

efetch -db ipg -id ADX88687.1 -format ipg

However, this is quite slow, even with an API key. Is it therefore possible to download the entire IPG database so that I can make these lookups locally? I realise this would be a very large file.

Thank you!

Ask NCBI support by creating a ticket. Likely the answer is going to be no since this may not be a standalone download but a complex database structure.
