The Department of Plant Comparative Development and Genetics at Max-Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research is looking for a bioinformatican. The candidate will interact closely with the Director Prof. Dr. Miltos Tsiantis.

• Essential: PhD degree in bioinformatics, computer science, molecular/evolutionary biology, or equivalent background
• Broad work area (Includes but not limited to)
  • RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq
  • Structural variation
  • Single cell analysis
  • Long and short read sequencing analysis
• Place of work : Cologne (Germany)
• Initial duration : 2 years (With a strong possibility for extension)
