Dear all,
Would you please advise -- which resources / websites could I use in order to learn the major bioinformatics pipelines that process ONT data ? Beside https://github.com/nanoporetech, which other resources would you recommend ? I am looking for resources such as : https://timkahlke.github.io/LongRead_tutorials/. This does not provide the tutorial input data though. Thank you !
Bogdan
Hi, I don't know if this can be useful for you. I think it's a good resource to learn about ONT:
https://nanoporetech.com/resource-centre/nanogalaxy-nanopore-long-read-sequencing-data-analysis-galaxy
https://nanopore.usegalaxy.eu/
What kind of ONT data? Depending on the size/type of data you are working with a significant compute amount may be required for specific analyses.
Thank you both. Should you point me to resources that provide both the code and the data, it would be fantastic. An example is : https://timkahlke.github.io/LongRead_tutorials/. Thank you very much.
There should be plenty of data (of all types) available on SRA at this point. You can search around for the type of data you are looking for.
https://community.nanoporetech.com/ also has resources. You do need an account (which used to require sponsorship from someone who has ONT equipment in past, not sure what the current requirements are) to access.
